My TJ was killing batteries, apparently because I don’t drive it enough. As I drove it over to them the transmission wouldn’t shift out of second. Having had this issue in the past, I knew what the problem most likely was. Jesse (which one? I don’t know, there’s too many to count) diagnosed the transmission control module, they ordered in a replacement that came with a 5 year warranty and put a disconnect on my battery. They did this in a very timely manner and everything installed was less expensive than just the TCM cost me last time. I really appreciate their hard work and the clear, concise communication from their service writer ( I forgot your name, thank you!). They have earned my future work. J. Davis

I can't say enough good things about this place! I had my Tacoma worked on here several times, and the service and pricing was fast, and very fair! Kaci at the front counter kept me updated and was very friendly and helpful. She arranged a complimentary ride to pick me up after my truck was done. Jesse, the tech that worked on my truck took time to come out and explain things in a way that I could understand, and helped me make a plan for future repairs & services. If you are looking for a great shop that genuinely cares about people, and keeping vehicles in top shape, give these guys a call! Highly recommended.

I had a great experience with Expert Four-Wheel-Drive & Auto. About a week and a half before bringing my truck in, I spoke with Steve and explained the issues I was having. He was knowledgeable and helpful right from the start. I had my truck dropped off the next day, and they quickly inspected it, diagnosed the problem, and clearly explained my options. I decided to move forward with a full engine swap since it made the most sense for me long-term. Throughout the entire process, communication was excellent. Kaci did an awesome job keeping me updated, which I really appreciated. The work they did on my truck was top-notch, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and professional service.

Steve, Kaci and Jesse are very pleasant to work with. I found them attentive, professional and informative. My car literally broke down near their front door, 5 minutes before closing. Never once did I feel rushed or an imposition. I’ve been taking my old truck to Expert 4WD since around 2011. a couple of years ago I finally got a major overhaul of the seals for engine and transmission done and some work on the carburetor. Jesse really knows his stuff. I definitely miss Joe not being there to greet me but the new ownership seems to be carrying on in the tradition of excellent work at fair prices. My nearly 50 year old truck runs like a dream!

I ran into an issue with my Jeep on the way home from work Thursday afternoon. Called Expert 4wd in Loveland, CO Thursday just before they were closing. Super nice receptionist that I talked to. Made an appointment with them for the next Monday. She offered for me to drop it off the next day to see if they had time to check into the repair. They were able to get it in the next day, took the extra time to work on it over the weekend, and was completed by 10 am Monday morning knowing that I heavily rely on my Jeep for commuting purposes. Just amazing service! Caring, empathetic, and kind people! Really appreciate the quality service, and so nice to have my Jeep back in such a short time!! Jesse and the staff have always done A+ work if you want your vehicle fixed right the first time and top notch mechanics this is your shop. Joe and his team are VERY knowledgeable professionals. I usually work on my own cars, but needed help this time (visitors coming from out of town for a week in winter!). I knew I had a leaky radiator, found a replacement available at a local big parts automotive retail store, and then asked Joe about an appointment to replace my radiator. Joe mentioned a price and I made an appointment with him for a week later based on his busy schedule. (My first time working with Joe and this shop. They have had over 20 yrs experience in a downtown Loveland location, now have taken over this location from Tony which is near my house). Bottom line, my experience with the schedule was mixed due to their work load and then later to a disabling snow storm, but the work was done well and the price (based on computer "Guide" hours to do the work and the need to use "warrantable" parts from their parts source) was paid. Along the way I asked for estimates to repair additional known problems with my 24 year old Infiniti i30 while they had it in the shop. Labor and parts for that work was added to the detailed printed estimate. The price estimate quoted in writing for all this work was also provided by a computer print out of the labor hours typically required (blue book?), at shop rate, description of the specific parts that would be used, and then the work was all done in one day on a new appointment date. I arranged for a ride to/from their shop with one of their very courteous mechanics. (The ride I had previously arranged had long since departed for home so I needed their help). The overall experience was professional, complete, and Big Jesse's work appears to be excellent. Since I did all my own work on my cars in the past, the price charged was of course a shock, but it was backed up by a very detailed printed description of what needed to be done after lots of deferred maintenance. I've never had time to visit other shops in my area for price comparisons but I was assured by Joe their price was indeed "competitive". I think reading Google reviews of several repair shops recently and talking to friends show that Joe and his Team are very good at what they do and while there are other shops that do indeed appear "competitive", none get perfect scores. A shop that has been in business for a long time knows what they are doing and their prices reflect a need to stay in business by hiring good people, consistently meeting the payroll, and paying their expenses. I paid my bill and am enjoying driving my car with confidence again. I suspect you can't ask more than that from a good shop like this one.

Excellent crew, excellent owners. Took time out of their busy day to find a very obscure hard-to-obtain specialty part for my 96 Ram2500 4x4 diesel. Their character is Honest Quality. Did not gouge me for the part nobody NOBODY has not online, not even the dealership saying it would be 2 week special order. A definite go-to reputable place. Part I needed was Mopar Transfer Case Thrust Washer 4446487, the front output shaft spline yoke seal. PS online says it's for 02-08 jeep, but it's the same one fits perfect for New Process 241DHD transfer case.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND the mechanics here really know what they are doing. I have an obnoxious lifted hummer that had to have the whole front suspension replaced, they work fast at fair upfront prices. If you have a 4x4 this is the place to go for any repairs even maintenance!

My Jeep wouldn't pass emissions due to a Evap Emissions leak code. Joe and Larry ran a test to find that there was a crack in the gas tank. They were able to fix it quickly and get me back on the road. The customer service here is superior, everyone is friendly and helpful. I completely trust them. My wife and I took our honeymoon in Estes Park, CO and our transmission went out in our suv. We took the truck to Expert 4wd in Loveland, CO and after talking with Joe I knew our truck was in good hands. The transmission we needed was not going to get there before we were heading back so Joe called enterprise and gave us a ride to get a rented car, We enjoyed the rest of our honeymoon and took the rental back to our home state. After the repairs were complete I flew to Denver and to my surprise Joe was willing to pick me up at the airport on a Sat to pick up the suv.
